The Ministry of Education honored yesterday, Wednesday Nov.23, 2016, Talemia Company for Educational Services for sponsoring the contest of (Saudi Landmarks) during the closing ceremony of the contest held in Riyadh. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Mohammed Al-Harthi, the Deputy Minister for Curriculums and Educational Programs, on behalf of the Minister of Education and in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al-Qahtani, the Director General of the Student Activities and Community Program and the representative of Talemia in the ceremony.

 

A number of senior officials from the Ministry of Education attended the ceremony where the Ministry honored the winners of the contest from different academic levels (primary, intermediate and secondary).

 

The contest, sponsored by Talemia, emanates from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 that stressed fostering the positive values in the minds of students by providing them with knowledge and skills through the development of cultural, social voluntary and sports activities and to achieve a set of educational objectives.

 

Through this contest, the Ministry seeks to keep up with the changes witnessed by the technology age including the changes taking place in the activity patterns practiced by the young generation. The contest idea was based on utilizing a game called (Minecraft) as a tool to blend learning with fun that seeks to promote students’ belonging to their country, and inform them about the religious and historical landmarks in the country at the present and in the future.

 

Talemia’s contest sponsorship springs out its social responsibility and role to achieve public welfare, development and awareness among the community members, particularly in the education sector. Talemia also contributes to the provision of direct and indirect support to such events and national student activities.

 

The Ministry of Education Honors Talemia
