Talemia Company for Educational services has received today, October 23, 2016, at its headquarters, Dr. Saeed Al-Shamrani, the acting general supervisor of the Research Excellence Center in Science and Math at King Saud University. Dr.Mohammed Alzaghibi, Talemia’s CEO and Dr. Nasser Al-Uwaisheq, the Executive Director of the Content and e-Solutions Sector, received Dr. Al-Shamrani to discuss with him potential aspects of collaboration in areas of common interests between Talemia and the Center. Dr. Alzaghibi has explained that Talemia is keen to cooperate with the Research Excellence Center to conduct researches and studies on Talemia’s products in the STEM area. Talemia also seeks to develop its products and services and offer them to higher education and public education with best quality. On the other hand, Dr. Nasser Al-Uwaisheq has pointed out that joint-teams will be formed from both parties to study the Blended Professional Training Program of the science and math teachers (Tamkeen). Both sides also discussed the possibility of developing the program to be implemented in the teachers’ professional development. It’s noteworthy that Talemia supports researchers who are interested in conducting studies on the school STEM centers and scientific centers and how they have affected the development of teaching science and math. This meeting comes in connection with the seminar that was conducted by Dr. Al-Uwaisheq last week at the Research Excellence Center which has addressed STEM projects at Talemia. A big number of people attended the seminar, which reflects the importance of addressing such contemporary educational trends and discussing them with the students and academics of higher education.
