The Community Clubs are still receiving female students, during the school holiday, through 164 clubs in 45 educational directorates. A variety of programs are conducted where a series of courses are held on the basics of Home Interior Design. The program aims to develop the participants’ skills in producing their own home designs in an innovative and practical way. This is done in collaboration with academically specialized female trainers who came from public universities in three major regions: Riyadh, Jeddah and Yanbu.
The Community Clubs, implemented by Tatweer Company for Educational Services (T4ed) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, are receiving female students from different regions across the Kingdom. This aims to utilize the students’ leisure time through involving them into cultural and social programs and events in addition to programs on life skills, health and physical fitness.
Dr. Mohammad bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, the General Director of the Student Activities and Community Sector at T4edu, has explained that the training program of “Home Interior Design " is targeting 400 female trainees who are 16- years old and above. The 10-day program consists of 30 hours- 3 hours a day. The program is being implemented by specialized academics from Princess Norah bin Abdulrahman University in 7 clubs in Riyadh, along with King Abdulaziz University in 8 clubs in Jeddah and Yanbu College staff in 3 clubs in Yanbu.
Dr. Al-Qahatani has confirmed that professional and specialized educational cadre, under the supervision and pursuit of the educational directorates, is implementing the community clubs program in a range of public schools in an attempt to utilize the multi-purpose Halls, support services and safety and security means within highly crowded districts to conduct a range of events and activities. The program aims to achieve a set of objectives like utilizing the female students’ leisure time in useful activities in addition to developing their values and attitudes correctly. The program also aims to develop the spirit of voluntary work, community service, national allegiance, integrated and productive personality that is able to shoulder responsibilities.
