Talemia Company for Educational Services signed a MOU with K12, an American company, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Riyadh in the presence of HE the Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa. The event aims to explore the means of collaboration in the areas of e-learning, virtual schools and designing e- interactive content. Dr. Mohammed Alzaghibi, T4edu CEO and Mr. Russell Roselle, Senior Vice President at K12, signed the MOU.

 

Dr. Alzaghibi stated that Talemia is seeking, through such partnerships, to develop its educational expertise and services, and utilize the global expertise of K12 through building strategic partnerships with international firms.

 

This agreement represents one of the aspects stipulated by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 on digital transformation. The business cooperation between the two parties will include the areas of content and e- syllabus development, training, and expertise transfer in the field of operation and activation of virtual schools. The cooperation also includes the areas of rules and regulations development, virtual schools governance, and the development of e-platforms and systems relating to virtual schools.

 

It is noteworthy that the K12 company is one of the mega American companies specialized in the field of virtual schools. It is also a leading and a specialized company in the online educational services production in addition to designing academic curricula for public schools students.
