HE the Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa, has inaugurated

iEN Virtual School, one of the projects implemented by Talemia. Dr. Mohammed Alzaghibi, Talemia’s CEO, and a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Education, attended the event. Dr. A-Issa stressed that technology in education is inevitable as it enriches the educational process and helps make follow-up on the academic performance of the students. He highlighted the importance of such e-applications and the intention of the Ministry of Education to expand such projects in the future.

Dr. Mohammed Alzaghibi, Talemia’s CEO, has explained that the virtual school is a mega project working around the clock. The project gives a good opportunity to parents to access and follow up their sons’/daughters’ performance. The project includes good content, evaluation and lessons which go in line with the current generation mindset  which depends more on using technology.

Talemia has presented a modern model of virtual schools taking into account that its design and products align with the most up-to-date global experiments along with what the Kingdom’s vision has in the aspect of digital and technological transformation. The virtual school provides virtual educational and alternative solutions to ensure learning dissemination and sustainability, and providing learning opportunities to those who have no access to schools. It’s also concerned with all types of students and provides a variety of virtual and educational services.

This technological solution contributed to providing high quality alternative education all over the regions of the Kingdom. It will also compensate for educational dropouts and provide an opportunity for students to join virtual schools and interact with their teachers through synchronic virtual classes. The virtual school is concerned with all features and services of the educational systems where it provides the following services (e-registration, synchronous and asynchronous virtual classes, e- homework assignments, e-tests, reports and statistics, e- certificates, follow-up and educational support). In addition, it provides a vast digital educational content designed particularly for the educational environment in the Kingdom and in collaboration with the National Education Portal  “iEN”

The virtual school is being inaugurated as one of the products of the sector of content development and e-solutions at Talemia after a one year of hard work by a team of educationalists and specialists in technology to provide effective solutions for learning and e training in accordance with the culture of the Saudi community.

Some authorities will be delegated to the directorates of education to set up virtual classes devoted to each city depending on need and conditions. Then, classrooms will be managed virtually in terms of attendance, classes, homework, activities, and interaction between the student and the teacher to enable the student to fully benefit from this service and get full support. There will also be three accounts for (the student, the teacher and the school leader.) Each account has different authorities and services.

Educational content development (audio-visual and print) is regarded one of the key aspects that Talemia is focusing on since it is one of the pillars of the educational process within the academic syllabus and beyond. It was produced in line with the performance control standards that ensure the achievement of desired and planned goals. Talemia is offering, represented by the Content Development and e-Solutions Sector, a set of integrated professional and educational services that contribute to improvement of the educational process and development of professional performance. Professional experts, attracted by Talemia at the local, regional and international levels, supervise these services.
