Talemia Company for Educational Services  held, on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at its headquarters in Riyadh, an orientation session for its staff entitled “Introducing the National Transformation Program (NTP)”.

Mr. Bander bin Fayez Al-Shehri, the director of the Quality Projects Program/ Strategic Management Office at T4edu, conducted the NTP session. The session focused on 3 key themes: overview of the Kingdom Vision 2030, introducing the NTP 2020 and the Ministry of Education NTP.

 

Mr. Al-Shehri explained that Vision 2030 is the main guide for the programs and businesses that the executive authorities adopt. After that, he reviewed Vision 2030 as articulated in the Vision document, which stated, “Saudi Arabia is the heart of the Arab and Islamic worlds, a leading investment power and having a strategic location connecting three continents. He also reviewed the 3 themes of the Vision, which are “Vibrant Society, Thriving Economy and Ambitious Nation”. Additionally, he reviewed the potential programs to be implemented to achieve the Vision, one of which and most important is the NTP.

 

Mr. Al-Shehri highlighted the goals of the NTP, some of which are:  leveraging the planning efficiency at the level of the government directorates, enhancing the coordination level to achieve the national goals and implementing projects and initiatives as soon as possible. To do that, several approaches should be utilized such as business sustainability, maximizing effect, promoting joint ventures, defining strategic goals of each entity, and translating them into executive initiatives.

 

Mr. Al-Shehri revealed the role of Talemia and its contribution to the NTP 2020 through supporting the Ministry of Education during the phase of planning for the NTP initiatives through creating a qualified team of the Talemia’s staff who have extended necessary support to the Ministry’s initiative teams. Talemia’s team participated, during that phase, in more than 400 meetings and workshops where the team has matched initiatives contracts and extended the detailed plans of the NTP, in addition to the preparation of a comprehensive perspective for the establishment of the NTP office at the Ministry of Education.
