Talemia conducted on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, a workshop to activate virtual schools at the directorates of education. The workshop, inaugurated by a former Minister of Education, aims to introduce virtual and alternative educational solutions to ensure learning dissemination and sustainability as well as providing learning for those who had no access to schools.

 

The workshop, attended by 65 supervisors from the directorates of education, addressed the features of the virtual school as being a high quality educational alternative across the regions of the Kingdom. The workshop also stressed that the virtual school compensates for the educational dropouts and provides an opportunity for the students to join online schools and interact with their teachers through live virtual classes.

Moreover, the workshop has highlighted the roles played by the teacher and school principal in activating the features and services provided by the education systems such as (e-registration, synchronic and a synchronic virtual classes, e-homework, e-tests, reports and statistics, e-certificates, follow-up and educational support) along with  whatever related to the student and his parent like accessing a huge educational and digital content designed to fit the educational environment in the Kingdom and  in integration with the National Education Portal, “iEN”
