Talemia company for Educational services, represented by the School Development Program, conducted on Sunday October 16, 2016 in Riyadh, a training program entitled, “Building a School Development Plan”. A number of Tatweer Units supervisors, representing the educational directorates, have participated in the program.
During the program, the key concepts of building a school development plan were reviewed. Additionally, the major issues of planning, educational and administrative system were defined. This is to qualify the trainers on the practical and theoretical sides and enable them to build an integrated plan for school development that emanates from its actual educational needs and its physical and human capacities in line with certain tools that measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and development impact. Furthermore, the program has discussed the approach of implementing the self- review products, which are :learning and school performance. In addition, the program discussed developing programs and projects that achieve the agreed upon objectives, with excellence in the phases of both implementation and follow-up.
The training program, which comes as part of the services offered by Talemia, seeks to develop schools to become learning organizations that assume self-performance development, increase their financial, administrative and organizational independence that promotes responsibility. This is to transform school into a competent educational organization that can assume self- leadership, manage and guide the management process, self- review its own performance, and build its own developmental plan to improve students’ performance. By this, the school becomes a knowledge- producing organization, which has a secure, supportive, and an attractive environment that meets the learners’ needs and interests. This leads to transfer from centralized to –balanced non-centralized entities. This can happen through delegating and promoting authorities along with activating and supporting accountability and using effective KPIs to measure performance.
It’s noteworthy that the second phase of the program will be implemented early next week in Jeddah governorate, Allah willing.
