Talemia has signed a MOU with the British Council, the International British organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities, to discuss and define cooperation opportunities in the field of education development. Dr. Mohammed Alzaghibi, Talemia’s CEO, and Mr. Ameer Ramadan, the British Council Director in the Kingdom, signed the memorandum on behalf of the two parties.
The two sides seek to find opportunities for strategic partnership and investment to implement the public education development projects and provide educational services in the Kingdom, where both sides are interested in the training and development of students' abilities to keep up with the requirements of the 21st century.
The MOU presents the scope of cooperation and business between the two sides in all fields. It also takes advantage of the products of the two parties with respect to education services and appropriate solutions for the kingdom in several areas. This includes, but not limited to, the probability of registering and taking the English language test known as (IELTS) through the Talemia’s “iEN” e- portal, along with getting licensure to offer free courses for registered students in the test and support them, in addition to conducting workshops and training some Talemia’s staff on how to teach the IELTS test.
The MOU has also discussed providing Talemia with a licensure to receive newsletters and educational materials from the British Council, where teachers may take advantage of them. Further, the Council will provide (APTIS) through Talemia and explore available opportunities to upgrade bilateral relations in the areas of private education, early childhood education, school trips and test system such as (GCE and IGCSE).
