Talemia Company for Educational Services has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education to support Talemia’s efforts to conduct an independent assessment for the programs and projects implemented by Talemia to achieve the educational goals defined by the Public Education Development Strategy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, including the National Transformation Program 2020.

Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Alzaghibi, T4edu’s CEO, has explained that signing the MOU comes as per the directives of HE the Minister of Education, the Chairman of the Talemia Board, to ensure the efficiency of  implementing the educational programs and projects, assess their efficiency independently and build  effective partnerships with exceptional international educational bodies and expertise houses (Think Tanks) in alignment with the current and future goals of education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Talemia is also aspiring- through such partnerships- to meet the needs of achieving excellence and quality in education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab World through the initiatives presented by Talemia that will contribute to achieving the goals of the Strategic Plan to develop education across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He added that signing the MOU aims to assess the educational programs and projects as well as professional development in the field of quality, assessment and performance indicators (KPIs), in addition to exchanging consultations, research and experts. It also aims to conduct a range of activities and educational events, including conferences, workshops and training programs.

On the other hand, HE Dr. Hossam bin Abdulwahab Zaman, the chairman of Taif University and the General Director of the Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education, has explained that this agreement constitutes an important step in the progress of both sides. He also hoped that the partnership with T4edu would be successful.

It is noteworthy that the Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education is considered one of the most important international developmental initiatives at the education level. This comes as part of the Kingdom’s trend to focus on the issues of efficiency, quality and excellence and being keen to focus on the service quality rather than just providing it. The nature of the Regional Center reflects this concern at the national, regional and global levels.
